These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReceiptWala Android app ("the app", "the Service"). ReceiptWala is operated by Neobplan, a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Korea ("ReceiptWala", "we", "us"), and these Terms are an agreement between you and Neobplan. By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
ReceiptWala lets you capture receipts, extract Indian GST fields using on-device OCR, organise expenses, generate reports, and optionally back up data to your own Google Drive. The app is provided for users in India and is intended for adults.
You may use the app, including Premium, without an account. An account (created via phone OTP, Google Sign-In, or email/password) is required only for backup to and restore from your Google Drive. If you are signed in when you buy Premium, the purchase is also recorded against your account so that it can be verified. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
ReceiptWala offers optional auto-renewing Premium subscriptions:
Prices are set in the Google Play Store and may change; you will be notified of changes as required by Google Play.
Subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play Billing and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the Google Play Store (Payments & subscriptions); Premium stays available until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting your ReceiptWala account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in Google Play.
The monthly and annual plans are separate subscriptions, and the app does not switch you between them. To change plans, cancel your current subscription in Google Play and, once the paid period ends, subscribe to the other plan.
Refunds are handled under Google Play's standard policy. ReceiptWala does not separately process refunds; refund requests are made through Google Play.
If a renewal payment fails, Premium features remain available for a short grace period. If payment is not resolved, the account reverts to the free tier.
The free tier allows scanning a limited number of receipts per month. Premium removes this limit and unlocks advanced GST reports.

ReceiptWala uses automated optical character recognition to read receipts. OCR results, extracted GST fields, and generated reports may contain errors. They are provided as a convenience and are not tax, accounting, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for verifying all figures — including any data used for GST filing or tax purposes — against your original receipts and invoices before relying on them.
The app, its design, and its content (excluding your receipts and data) are owned by ReceiptWala and its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app to manage your personal or your own business's expenses. Your receipts and data remain yours.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReceiptWala is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on OCR results or generated reports, or from loss of data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if required by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
